Cancellation Insurance

The insurance provides coverage for riders in the following situations:

• Cancellation of participation in an event.

• Vehicle breakdown at the start of an event.

Guarantees and Coverage Rates

• Justified cancellations (according to specified reasons): 100% without deductible.

• Cancellations for professional reasons: 70%.

• Cancellations due to weather or breakdowns: 50%.

a) Reasons for cancellation covered at 100%

(Reasons occurring before the riding session):

• Bodily injury to the insured (e.g., traffic accident, circuit incident, domestic accident).

• Illness of the insured.

• Hospitalization of the insured.

• Accident, illness, or hospitalization of the spouse, ascendant, or descendant up to the 2nd degree.

• Death of the spouse, ascendant, or descendant up to the 2nd degree within 7 days prior to the guaranteed event.

• Birth of the insured’s child within 7 days prior to the riding session.

• Vehicle intended for the riding session damaged in a road or circuit accident within the last month, rendering it non-functional, with repair delays preventing participation.

• Theft of the vehicle intended for the riding session.

• Summons to a makeup exam.

• Summons as a jury member or witness.

• Loss of salaried employment (permanent contract).

• Change in destination or cancellation of public transportation.

b) Cancellation due to professional obligations covered at 70%

Coverage applies if professional constraints require the insured to be at their workplace or attend a client or supplier meeting.

c) Cancellation due to weather conditions covered at 50%

Applicable in case of adverse weather conditions on the day of the riding session, confirmed by the event organizer.

d) Cancellation due to vehicle breakdown covered at 50%

Applicable in case of a breakdown on the day of the riding session or during the first session, verified by the event organizer.

e) Reasons not covered (0%)

All other reasons not listed above are not eligible for reimbursement. Examples:

• Lack of desire to ride.

• Last-minute family meal invitation.

• Mild discomfort not evaluated by a healthcare professional.

• Unsubstantiated work obligations on a Sunday.

To declare a claim, three options are available:
