Upon registration, each participant is asked to provide a reference time and indicate their skill level. This initial step allows the organizers to gather essential information to ensure the safety and balance of the groups throughout the day. Once registration is closed, a meticulous sorting process takes place to organize the groups as evenly as possible.
On the day itself, the schedule is organized in a structured and methodical way. Participants are divided into four skill-level groups, each with its own dedicated session on the track. This organization allows riders to focus on their personal goals while benefiting from a harmonious and secure collective setting.
Sessions follow a rhythm of twenty minutes, giving each rider the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the track experience. Throughout the day, riders benefit from an average of seven to eight sessions. This steady pace maximizes track time while allowing moments of rest and reflection between each run.
Beyond track sessions, SCX is committed to offering theoretical workshops led by experienced instructors. These workshops cover a variety of topics: positioning on the bike, trajectory choice, braking techniques, suspension adjustments, and more. These educational moments enhance the experience, allowing each rider to deepen their technical knowledge for more efficient and safer riding.
Depending on logistical constraints, the instructors also provide personalized follow-up for two to three riders per session. Equipped with cameras, they capture performances on the track, allowing for a video review that will be studied during a debriefing after the session. This individual follow-up offers participants a detailed analysis of their movements, positioning, and trajectories.
All videos recorded during the sessions are made available to participants on the SCX website. This way, each rider can review their performance, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate their progress in a supportive and educational environment.
A photographer is present at each event, capturing the highlights of the day, both on and off the track. These professional images, often full of dynamism and intensity, are made available a few days after the event directly on the association’s website.
This is how a day with SCX unfolds: a subtle balance between practice, learning, and moments of sharing.
